With just 16 days left until check-in I've definitely been busy trying to pack and tie up all the loose ends. I've actually been having a very productive and fulfilling last few days so here's my latest update. Enjoy!
January 7th
Since Temple doesn't accept the DCP as my junior internship for credit, I've been working on applying for internships and setting up one for when I get back in PA in May. Tonight I have an internview in Hatboro, PA with Trilogy Event Design! Needless to say I was so psyched to meet Randi Martin and talk to her about any opportunities she has to offer and the company in general because I've been wanting to learn about this niche of the industry.
Well, I got down to Hatboro just fine, but finding the place on York Rd. took me forrrreeevvvvveerrrrr! This moment in my life definitely reinforced my lack of directional ability, aha! But I was right, intern Brianna and Randi were super nice and Randi offered me an internship on the spot! Now all I have to do is keep my fingers crossed that Temple approves this one because I actually got an event planning internship.

January 8th
One of the Christmas presents to me and my brother, from our parents, was tickets to the Flyers game tonight. Even though we were pretty high up, it was an amazing game and WE WON! They picked such a great game to get us tickets to as well. (:
January 9th
I am now the proud owner of a 2005 Nissan Maxima! Sure it's not the newest car on the market, but I got it for a nice price and it's my first car!
January 10th
Today I've happily stayed in my pajamas all day while looking online to see what I will be pre-ordering for the apartment. Currently, in my cart I have a Mickey Mouse shower curtain and bathroom rug, shower caddy, hangers, a power strip, two extension cords, and a 10-piece towel and rag set. Next I just have to figure out what the right day to order all this is so it can be down in Disney just in time for me to pick it all up! (:
Now I should probably get up and wash some more laundry in order to finish packing!
